Keyword-to-Article Workflow: Turn Search Demand Into the Right Page
A keyword is evidence of demand, not automatically a page. The workflow starts by deciding whether the query belongs in an existing destination.
Cluster before creating URLs
Group queries by dominant intent, SERP overlap and desired user outcome. Similar wording does not always mean the same page, and different wording can still describe the same destination.
Choose the canonical topic
Pick the clearest primary phrase for the page title and URL while allowing the body to naturally cover the broader query family.
Build the brief
Define the reader's task, required subtopics, evidence, examples and internal links. This prevents a keyword list from turning into disconnected sections.
Draft and QA
Generate or write the article, then verify facts, remove repetition, check intent and improve the page until it stands on its own as a useful destination.
Publish and observe
After indexing, use actual queries to refine coverage. If new queries share the same intent, update the page rather than creating near-duplicates.
